At Anghello, we love useful new features. The kind that solve real-world situations our customers face on the ground: security check-in, evacuation, multi-site management, notifications, compliance…
Over the past 3 months, several important updates have been added — but we haven't talked about them. Time for a quick rundown.
A more visual and flexible safety quiz 🪧
You can now add pictograms (ISO 7010) directly into the questions and answers of your HSE safety induction quizzes.
A minor detail? Not really.
On the ground, pictograms enable faster comprehension, consistency with the safety signage already in place on site, and a clearer experience for international visitors.
To help your visitors better understand safety instructions, we've also enabled the creation of multiple-choice questions. This lets you build validations better suited to your internal procedures.
Customizable notifications for greater control 🔔
Notifications are essential in a modern check-in process. But between emails, Microsoft Teams notifications, SMS, and different event types, needs quickly become specific to each site, process, and team member.
So we've added:
- notification rules by channel (email, Microsoft Teams, SMS…);
- by event (notably when a visitor checks in, as well as when they check out);
- configurable by default per site;
- with the ability to customize notification delivery based on the host.
Why this need for personalization? Because your maintenance manager may not always have access to their Microsoft Teams space, whereas your HR manager probably spends most of their time there!
Another important addition: administrators now have access to a complete history of sent notifications.
Evacuation even better suited to emergency situations 🚨
Has your safety or QHSE manager ever been away on the day of an evacuation at your premises?
A new role for Anghello users solves this problem: the "Evacuation" role!
Assign it to one of your trusted team members so you can delegate responsibility for the evacuation (and only that responsibility).
And to make this new role even easier to use, we've reserved an even simpler mode for you: the "Emergency QR Code" mode.
The goal of this mode? To make access to evacuation lists even faster and more mobile in the field. How? Simply by printing an emergency QR code to slip into the Evacuation folder: one scan of this QR code and your team member is ready to manage the site's evacuation from the real-time list of visitors to account for.
Because in an emergency, every second counts.
A more flexible GDPR information notice 🔐
Every company has its own compliance and communication constraints — and sometimes even specific data processing purposes (ERP, access control, internal reporting…). It's essential to clearly communicate the details of this processing to your site's visitors.
You can now customize the GDPR notice displayed to visitors.
This addresses a common need for organizations to make their visitor data processing GDPR-compliant, especially with specific processing or particular internal requirements.
Pre-registration even closer to corporate calendar habits 📅
The visitor pre-registration module — via your team members' Outlook or Google calendars — is also maturing.
A few improvements:
- pre-registration now supports "All day" events;
- you can now invite up to 10 participants;
- forwarded invitation emails let you create a pre-registration for the event in question.
For greater flexibility for your employees, we've also added a new feature that lets you define whether an employee from a secondary site should be considered a team member or a visitor when they're part of a pre-registration.
A topic that may seem trivial… until you're managing multi-site industrial groups, complex organizations, or rotating executive committees!
A new Help Center and new Terms of Service 📚
We've also reworked several core elements, such as the new Help Center and our new Terms of Service with an integrated DPA.
